July 2025+ Update: A Quick Connection

The release of my top-tier Ice Cream membership has changed everything. I cannot put into words how touched I am by your patience, support, and understanding of my work. The upgrades to my Patron posts, as well as these upcoming pages of Horrortale, are fueled by your generosity alone.

I’ve been working in fanfiction for over 9 years now, plucking characters from their source material and changing them, re-inventing them, into entirely separate beings given entirely separate identities, stories, backgrounds, and worlds. This is how I approach all my fanwork. It is how Horrortale came to be. The commotion of this past month really opened my eyes to how deeply these fictional characters resonate with my readers, and how so many believe in their stories. I take great pride in having my own creative freedom, but the response others have to my work matters to me.

The “mature” gallery will likely not involve future UT characters until I finish the comic (cautiously estimating another 3-4 months), partly to promote comfort amongst the HT community, and partly to reserve drawing any UT-related artwork for the comic itself. This miiiight change, depending on my patrons' response, but it is how I currently feel and I owe you all full transparency. So, to make up for this, Ice-cream patrons will now receive 20% discounts on any commission type. Commission requests are far more flexible; do not be shy to request any subject matter. I will let you know whether or not it will be a good fit. Commissions will re-open in mid-August, and the monthly submission for my mature gallery will continue.

Lastly, I will be away for these last few weeks of July. Horrortale pages are still on the way, along with sketch requests. Links will be added and mega-collections updated,  as well as responses to any comments, questions, and concerns, by early August.

The outpouring of love for Horrortale, coupled with such financial assistance,  has upgraded this casual hobby into a massive passion project.  Horrortale is developed and illustrated every day, alongside other artistic ventures.
