2023-07-08 15:19:28 +0000 UTComg not you turning someone down and then their mom dying 😬 that’s like next level bad luck i think this might be my favorite episode. it’s between this and episode 6 but that scene by the claw machine is everything to me. the open communication and sincerity in it is so refreshing. miscommunication is such a common trope in other shows and i love that these characters actually talk through their problems honestly. this show zags where you expect it to zig and they never let any drama fester for too long. wish more shows did that tbh. also that scene with nick and imogen at the end of the episode is another favorite and so well acted. it was kit’s audition scene for nick and he’s just so good in it. i’m forever impressed by his ability to make you feel everything he’s feeling with a simple expression. such a well deserved emmy. we’ll probably get the full trailer in 2-ish weeks. last year it came out around 10 days before the season so i’m expecting something similar. so excited or it!
