Which Ork Dreadnought shall I paint?
Added 2025-10-10 11:24:43 +0000 UTCHey gang! Hope you've had a fantastic week and are all looking forward to a well deserved weekend.
A quick one for you! Can you please help me decide which of these awesome 3d printed Ork models to paint?

If it wasn't obvious, these are recreations of the fantastic cardboard dreadnought model from the Warhammer 40k 2nd edition starter set, that some legend recreated as an actual model.
One is 3d, but framed like the card model. The other is just a standalone model. The last is an entirely flat relief style model, for indomitable line of sight abuse.
Which one should I paint up for the video?
If we go with the flat relief one, I'll probably print it again to reduce the layer line issues.
LOVE YOU ALL!

I like the framed one. It gives you the actual model to paint and enjoy, but the frame calls back to the unique dimensions and shape of the cardboard dread. And that frame will be an interesting painting challenge, which will be fun to watch π

Kudos to the person who came up with the idea and printed them!! β€οΈ
