It does kinda suck that people spoiled that mando was going to be in this show tbh. Every other reactor it was a surprise for them. I just like to imagine how shocked you would be if you didnt know. I just dont understand why people cant keep their mouth shut.

I believe you have my stapler

I agree, I mean the same director of this episode did the "Spy Kids" movies so I guess this is the sort of crap I was expecting. The good news is, this is the weakest ep of the series and im glad it comes early on and not late in my opinion.

Just another example of how the people now running Lucasfilm don't fundamentally understand - or apparently even care about - George Lucas' vision of this universe. Clearly they were trying to MCU-ize Star Wars from the start. πŸ˜”

I was not expecting to see Stephen Root the first time I watched this.

I have always loved the Boba Fett character. I loved what they did with him in "The Mandalorian". I loved his backstory of how he survived and his time with the sand people. But, the Power Rangers and the slowest high-speed chase in movie history destroys a piece of my soul every time I see it.

I’m having a really good time revisiting this series. I loved how excited you were when you spotted Peli Motto. Boba getting a Rancor was so cool. One of the coolest looking characters we’ve ever met in episode two is the huge muscle, Krrsantan. The Tusken Raiders, just trying to live their lives by themselves peacefully. Although there was that one time they made a mistake by taking someone’s mother. (we know how that turned out) Boba Fett had at the most, a handful of lines in the original trilogy. But there was a following like no other. Before this series he had a huge amount of fans that no one could have imagined when STAR WARS began. For the remaining episodes, I’m going to quote Anakin, β€œThis is where the fun begins!” Take care, Addie!!

I think this is the weakest episode of the series so you're pretty much over the hump. The mods gang was just a strange choice they're like bad NPC characters from a different franchise.

This seemed like a filler episode. And for me, the best part was Boba Fett getting, and then his scene with the rancor. And yes, that's the same kind of creature that was in the pit in "Return of the Jedi" but obviously not the same one. The remaining episodes of the season are the best, for me anyway. Have a great day today! 😊

I'm not the biggest fan of the Robert Rodriguez episodes but everything in between I pretty much enjoyed. The "Mods" are a fun nod to the 1960s British subculture know as "Mods" disillusioned youth, sharp dress sense and scooters with lots of mirrors. Think of bands like The Jam, The Who, The Kinks, and the Yardbirds to name a few. They do fit the 1950s/1960s aesthetic of the Star Wars universe but I don't think they work on a planet like Tatooine feeling very out of place. They'd work really well on the back streets of Coruscant or any Urban city inspired by the working class of the UK. Short video on Mods - https://youtu.be/KyuDsFf46aI Video gives a better idea of the environment and culture. They would've worked really well in an urban setting focused on a youth tried of the Imperial rule or the New Republic. But nontheless I think some people got a little too overworked on the mods.
