THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER - EPISODE 6 - Full Length Reaction!

The Flag Smashers aren't the villains, the symbol is. that was the whole point of the show. That is why we have John Walker and Carlie fight each other; they are the fallout from a government that doesn't care. That is why the story is about Sam cleansing that idea . That is what Sam's speech is all about. The flag smashers along with John walker are not villains, they are victims in governmental negligence.

Back in episode 2 I mentioned that Walker was the first of two characters I do not like. Holding his leash is the other. Imagine seeing her here first and then at the end of Black Widow. As a fan of yours, I saw how hooked you were with Sam from the start. You have been loyal from the start and I cannot wait to see him in action again too. You caught on to that look on Sharon's face as she was leaving and knew, she's already up to something. It was great to rewatch this series and what's to come. Take care, Addie!!

So yeah this show is rocky, but I blame that on the pandemic. I give this show a lot of leniency because of 2020 and it all happened right in the middle of production. So they did have to stop everything and rewrite a lot of stuff. The weakest part of the show was honestly the Flag Smashers. They didn't get enough to feel like really fleshed out villains. John Walker is easily one of the best characters in the show. He was never a villain, but I can understand your unease. U.S. Agent is his alias in the comics and he's an anti hero. So... he's not evil and doesn't do anything to actively harm the world, but he does cross some moral boundaries that heroes wouldn't, like killing. So he's not a bad guy at all, but the bad thing is he's now under the command of Valentina, who pitted Yelena against Clint at the end of Black Widow, so we know she stirs the pot and can't be trusted. It sucks that right when he did something good, he showed he was able to drop his hate and desire for revenge in order to save people, right when he thinks he's stepping into a place where he can do good.... he's probably gonna do a lot of bad without knowing. He's not even as bad as he is in the comics. In there, he's much worse, much more arrogant and just a dickhead. But here, they really played off his trauma and hardened past, but he still wants to help people. I think if you stayed with the show longer you might have felt a little more sympathetic but two watch sessions is pretty quick so it makes sense. I will always miss Steve, he's among my favorite heroes. He inspires so much good in others, being so determined and strong, not because of a serum, but because of who he is inside. He had the respect of Gods, yet he was human. He wasn't the strongest, yet he felt unstoppable. He wasn't the smartest, yet he was the greatest leader. He was literally willing to fight Thanos' army alone to his last breath, because he can do this all day. But all that being said..... Sam is the perfect person to take his place and I can't wait to see more of our new Captain America. Can't wait for Loki! That's a huge milestone in the MCU and I really want to hear your thoughts on the things presented.... see you then Addie!
