8/19/25: Progress Report 1
Added 2025-08-20 00:47:33 +0000 UTCDespite my absolutely terrible inefficiency in 2025, I have finally managed to reach a point with the first chapter of I, the Unbroken One which I am happy with.
It is about ninety thousand words long, following three primary routes based on the ending of the first novel. There is some serious variation based on Elya's strength and whether certain members of the Stiedry household survived the events of Book One.
The usurper route is without a doubt the most variable and, in my opinion, the most exciting. I'd recommend that anyone, regardless of their route in the first book, read the usurper route and try to be as evil as possible. It'll be worth it, I swear.
Next on the chopping block will be the writing of Chapter Two, as well as any necessary fixes and tweaks to the first. I'll have another report ready around September 2nd.
