With a heavy heart, I need to share that my brother was tragically killed on the night between Thursday and Friday. I received the news shortly after posting Friday’s chapter.
Tomorrow (Sunday) will be the funeral, and following Jewish tradition, I’ll be observing Shiva with my family—a week-long period where immediate family members come together to mourn.
I’ll have my laptop with me, and while I may be able to write and publish something, I can’t be certain I’ll be up to it emotionally. The loss is overwhelming.
Once I feel more grounded, I’ll return to writing and work to catch up on any missed chapters. I remain committed to publishing at least five chapters a week, though there may be delays for now.
Thank you deeply for your understanding, and I wish for each of you to be spared from such grief.

Completely optional, but I've been thinking a lot about the "We die twice. Once when our life ends and once when we're forgotten," and even if we don't know your brother, I like the thought of helping keep his memory alive. Again, though, completely optional and untimebound. Just... we're here if you want someone to listen and share the weight of grief and the memories of connection.
