Ron Stoppable Ch 23,24,25,26 Taken Down By Patreon - New Patreon Guidelines
Added 2024-05-16 17:53:40 +0000 UTCPatreon just came out with a new set of guidelines, and my recent submission Ron Stoppable's Crazy Love Life Chapters 23, 24, 25, 26 has been flagged as being against these guidelines (specifically the 18+ Creations and Mature Themes section) and has been rendered 'hidden' by Patreon, which means it is no longer available to be read by my Patrons.
The issue apparently stems from the content of this clump of chapters.
According to the guidelines, I cannot write smut scenes that don't contain explicit consent from both parties involved, which is a problem because in chapter 23 Ron is drugged and tied down.
I almost argued that no sex took place in chapter 23, before realizing that's not true because Yori performs oral on Ron before he manages to break free.
There is also a guideline forbidding the promotion of self harm, and there is a scene where Yori is in danger of hurting herself, but by no means am I promoting that action or mental state so I doubt that part of the chapter is the problem.
For now, I am going to re-release chapters 24,25,and 26 because these chapters don't have anything that goes against guidelines. If anyone has any suggestions about how I might reclaim chapter 23, I would be happy to hear it.

Not yet. I've sent a request for clarification regarding exactly what the problem is, but its most likely the fact I haven't cut out enough stuff yet. As of now I've kept everything about Ron being tied naked to a bed, but I've removed the actual sex. It's possible I need to remove the entire scene, including the events leading up to it and the aftermath, but I don't see why I'd need to do that. I've removed the nonconsensual sex scene. That should be enough.

2024-05-28 21:33:00 +0000 UTCIt's likely done through a program looking for things like "I don't content." Hence, the later chapters got flagged due to them referencing the past, while the chapter itself did not include it.

2024-05-18 10:34:49 +0000 UTCcan't believe that someone would pay money for your content only to then go and report your content since I'm extemely doubtful that Patreon was able to go through all of your content and pick out specific things like that as I doubt they'd take the time to write a script to look specifically for such things

To be honest, I could've deleted the entire chapter and resubmitted it with the redaction you guys have suggested, but I want to make sure I know the root of the problem.

2024-05-16 18:07:18 +0000 UTCI would post a placeholder for chapter 23, with an apology to patrons and directions just like this on how to find it for free off site. Should work for most people. It's not the Patreon platform specifically that anyone is here for, but the content. Aren't most of us here because we found your work on those other sites in the first place? We shouldn't have a problem going back there for a chapter that Patreon doesn't like. I like the AO3 format better anyway.

I apologize if this breaks immersion but I have to follow these rules”*** Granted this is for things you’ve already written but as you’ve said yourself you don’t care for non-con and going forward I can’t think of it being a problem for you.
