Public UAF Discord Soon?

Hello guys,

I'll admit that I'm getting tired of getting the infamous enquiry about UAF discord entry. So, I talked to my friends and people that I looked up to about it. I decided to follow Kaysaar's AOTD server setup. A community hub for UAF and starsector players in general to talk and share stuff together.

It's no secret that you guys already know the existence of the current one. It's called 'New Auroran Confectionary .ltd'. It's suppose to be full public but too many bad things happened over the year. I've grown rather paranoid and jaded because of it. However, it isn't always bad things though - I've met wonderful people and played games with them. So despite all the turbulence, its a peaceful community server, just the way I like it!

I'd also like to apologize in advance for not re-opening the server again. I've made up my mind about it. I'd rather be isolated and safe in order to maintain my readiness and mental health to continue the work on the UAF mod. I hope you guys understand the peculiar situation I caught myself in.

Too many times have I been on the fence about quitting due to overwhelming pressure internally and externally, but I've gone too far to simply stop. Nearly 10,000 followers on X / Twitter and 2,700 followers on Patreon? I have gathered quite a number for just a niche anime mod.

We won't stop until we face impossible odds. We're just two major patches away from the finish line. I'm not doing this for money, this is my life's work and I must see it to the end regardless of the outcome.

Even if the patreon lifeline goes down, I will use my last remaining life savings to fund the mod. Just like how it's always been before I open up the Patreon two years ago.

Preferrably, I don't want it to be another carbon copy many other fragmented communities though. It will only feature news and other stuff that I think worth sharing.

it will be UAF-focused but its also still a Starsector discord server.

It's primary goal is to serve as another potential hub to release public experimental patches. Having a lot of players to screw around and find out bugs, glitches and crashes are better than just one set of eyes right?

The server will ultimately be decommissioned once its served its purpose. 

It will be publicly available to join server, so you don't need to subscribe to my Patreon but I'll only let a certain amount of people in at a time to avoid overpopulation.

It's likely that it will be named as 'Favonius Nuruversia Resort & Leisure' for immersion reasons.

So, when will I open the server? 

After these conditions are met, we're already halfway there;

1. Novaeria is 100% complete, both the Neuko ( Empress ) and the super capital.

2. Neuko Core and Automata sub-faction are ready to go.

3. The mod itself is stable and ready to play for the public.

4. All outstanding Patreon Portrait requests are finished.
