Chris's Visit to the South China Sea

Because of your support, I was able to hire a Filipino fishing boat for me and my crew to take a 3-day journey from the island of Luzon in the Philippines to the disputed Scarborough Shoal, which is either in the Philippines or in China, depending on whom you ask.
We planned for three possible scenarios:
• Getting attacked/harassed by the Chinese Coast Guard
• Being greeted in a cordial way by the Chinese Coast Guard (we brought vodka and Marlboros as a gift)
• Reaching the Scarborough Shoal without interference
Which one happened? We didn't know until we got there.
