Thailand Is Now Part of China
Added 2016-10-12 19:01:48 +0000 UTCAccording to a map going around the Thai Interwebz, Thailand is pretty much a part of China now. You know, doing its bidding and such.
It comes after Thailand deported the extremely dangerous and subversive....19-year-old student leader Joshua Wong.
China...um...totally had nothing to do with it.

This one (Joshua) I don't think Beijing had anything to do with. Thailand is shit-scared of revolt, which happens regularly, and I think his track record of getting young people engaged was too much to risk for the authorities If Beijing was involved, why not send him to Beijing?. That said, I have no doubt that Beijing is putting pressure on neighbors, and all are too willing to comply, just to ensure the trade ties are unaffected. And, it is not like Thailand and Malaysia have a particularly good history when it comes to dealing with dissidents.
