#130 - 10 LEVELS OF LEARNING GUITAR - Which Is Yours?

Time for some weekend fun! With this video, I wanted to re-capture my personal journey of learning guitar through the years :) Can you relate to these levels? Where are you right now?

I transcribed everything for you and you can download the tabs and guitar pro files below - I especially recommend checking out levels 5 and 6 in case you are looking for some challenging workouts this weekend!

Next week's lesson is straight from the wishlist again, we will check out how to combine chords with solos (chord melody arrangements/modern technical riffs) - can't wait to share that with you all! Stay safe and healthy & have a great weekend :)

There is no tab for the impossible stage! 😭🤣

I believe that I am a level 5. Right between the transition of stage 1 and 2, where the fast alternate picking begins. Level 5 + some arpeggio and tapping.

Somewhere between stages 3 & 4 and kinda stuck

Jimmy Grieve

Well... still in Stage 1. :)

A great example of me knowing a (very) little of every level, and not being a master of any level! LOL - love it - always on the learning path with you!

I am amazed how far I have come in such a short space of time, thanks Bernth. Things I could never have played 4 months ago are now in reach.

Steve Shaw

Hey Bernth ! Great video once again, I'm working on level 4 but I think there is a little mistake in the tab in measure 22 and 23 ;)

Bernth , thay was another awesome video. my level would be probably 4, but as i feel as a beginner... I really love this video cause it shows again how versatile you are and how lucky i feel i can learn from you... So keep up the good work and i will tey to upload a video in the near duture to let uou all in on my guitar practise efforts and struggles 🤪😎🤘🎸🎶

Great ! It's really the typical way. From metal to other styles, from uncontrolled speed to theoretical developments. Well done !!! However, don't try to burn your hands like for the fifth level !!! It's very painful and finally it doesn't help...

Loved the video B! I'm somewhere between 5 and 6. With huge gaps in techniques. I find playing struggling at higher strings. Improper practice and no metronome. I'm so looking forwarding to learning heaps.

Honestly? I think I'm averaging level 2.5 =/

Mechanic Guy

hey, can proudly say I'm working on my level 4..I think..if not, 3!

Serban Zahari

Nice video ! I'm somewhere between 4 and 5.

Think going back and forward on all levels are natural for me.

I definitely think I'm at level 5 now, with some knowledge gaps though. Was definitely at level 2 before I found Bernth's channel!

🤣 I am at the beginning of Level 5 and everything after that feels like level Impossible. Great video

Arvid Richter

I've been perpetually stuck in level 3 - Pentatonic scale - for most of my guitar career, although I know a little bit from all the other levels (except 10!). I've never really been able to put it all together to work for me.

Ronald Gillespie

great video, and its true:)
