My daughter and I found that while breaking supports on the arbiter some caution needs to be given to three areas.
1) The sword, as highlighted in the image.
2) The wing tendrils, where they meet with the wing stocks.
3) The fingers on the open hand.
All of these areas are fine and can break/snap if you are too rough with the support removal process. We were able to successfully not break or snap these sections by simply being aware of where things might break and slowing down just a smidge.
If the wings or sword break, they can be easily glued back in place. If the fingers break, it looks like a closed fist and still looks good.
