Ranma September Poll

And now we have  the Ranma poll for September.  With Journey Gone Astray having replaced GDWHOM for now and having won last month, it’s gone from the rotation for September.  Coming back is The Effect of a Horse and a Dragon.

I have also decided that when Journey (still a temp name) wins the poll, the new chapter will be posted here, and I will post a preceding chapter over on fanfic.

Anyway, the choices here are:

The Effect of a Horse and a Dragon- Ranma/Mass Effect crossover: Garrus’s feelings of being a third wheel to what might be the galaxy’s latest doomed romance fades as the group walks into an ambush. This battle is by far more serious than the last, ending in an explosive manner, which threatens to bury the trio of investigators and a large portion of the valley. Ranma’s skill with heat comes in handy again, and eventually the group come at the mysterious lab from a direction their enemy did not expect.  Just like in a horror film, splitting the party proves a bad idea, with Garrus soon being pinned down and Ranma, after knocking out a few scientists with annoyingly glowing eyes, faces another Spectre. This one again knows about his particular bag of tricks, forcing a tough fight that proves even harder than Ranma’s fight against the Shadow Broker.  Meanwhile, Tali, made to make use of her slight stature find herself right where she needs to be.  There, she smacks a few scientists before letting her fingers do the roaming, finding out precisely what Saren and the scientists were up to.

Stallion of the Line – Ranma/One Piece crossover: After a few days on Amazon Lily, Raffy leaves once more in the company of Sanji, Franky, Vivi, Sandersonia and Robin, almost instantly running into problems with both his cook and his ship.  Luckily, those problems don’t slow the trip, and they arrive at Shabondy prior to their heading to Mermaid Island without issue.  Instead, they find issues waiting for them in the form of the Marine’s new local commander and Jewelry Bonney.  A chance to talk goes out the window, and Luffy is faced with a problem he created, until a solution arrives unlooked for by both him and Bonney.  The marines once more attempt to make trouble, but fail to really register before the Everlasting Resolve is ready for it’s second underwater adventure.  The group continue on to Fishman Island, where they instantly run into still further pirate-type problems, much to the quick chagrin of said interlopers.  Meeting with the king, Jinbe and their family is interrupted by flying axes, and Vivi becomes angry while Luffy angers the locals, before offering a solution to their problem. It turns out that Kenbunshoku is a great skill to use when you’re hunting someone.   However, even as Robin and Luffy have a moment while exploring history, other problems arrive to cause headaches for Luffy and Jinbe alike.

This choice will end on the 12th. I think that will give me enough time to finish FILFy and send it off to the editors.  We will see.   As mentioned in the Patron only poll, I don’t know where I will vote, but in this one, I’m leaning to tome Tali/Ranma romance.  I just think they’re cute.  However, since Stallion hasn’t been updated in a while, it will be getting a quarter of the carry over effect (since I canceled the carry over last month).
