I enjoyed Gimli's introduction. The cutoff point was alright. I would have preferred it go into the meeting, but the next chapter should be awesome. I can understand Tauriel's mother trying to intimidate or test Harry. Her ultimate reaction to him may be a net positive though. She originally wanted Tauriel to marry Legolas because she was a social climber. The important thing to remember is that with Harry now being recognized as an Istar/Maiar, he arguably outranks an elven king. As seen earlier when Gandalf browbeat Thranduil into helping. The aspects of Dwarves culture you added were nice. I look forward to the chapter about them. Erebor will probably become a major world power through Harry's runes. I did take note when you announced that Harry and Tauriel won't be having a child before the events of LotR. I am a bit disappointed, but I do understand your reasoning. I still think that the Valar could tamper with things a bit, maybe strengthen Tauriel's Fea a bit, but oh well. I'm mostly disappointed that we won't get to see Thorin and Galadriel's reactions to being named godparents.

I am surprised Harry did not use fiend fire to destroy it all instead collapsing the warren. A lot of progress in erebor and I loved the description and design of dwarven ceremony for becoming master of the craft.
