No sooner had I announced my plans to catch up and started working on chapters, then I got one of the worst respiratory infections I have had in many years.
Between the wracking cough, and the headache it’s been causing, and feeling like my brain is stuffed with cotton, all I’ve managed to get done is stare at a blank word document, occasionally writing a sentence or two that would get deleted after another bout of staring…
I’d like to say that I’m on the mend and will be back to writing soon, but honestly I have no idea. Every time I think I’m feeling a bit better, I get a harsh reminder otherwise.
I will try to keep you posted and as I committed to previously, patreon will remain paused until I meet the goal I have set to be caught up.

Picking up antibiotics this evening. They'll probably kick my butt, but as long as whatever's gunking up my lungs gets it worse I'm ok with that.
