Please note that: yes the script does say this role is 65 years old, but they will age the actor up with makeup.

[JOANNE] 32 to 50 years old, white female. SUPPORTING. A nurse who holds another important piece in unlocking Eve’s past. First seen in her younger years, she helps deliver a child for a young Maureen. But Pam finds her much later in life, as a seasoned, grizzled New Yorker. She is guarded but friendly, wearing an ugly Christmas sweater and enjoying many an adult beverage late at night on a weekday as she does most days. She self-identifies as nuts but enjoys helping to unravel the puzzle with Pam.

Storyline: From the moment she was abandoned on church steps as an infant, Eve has wondered just who she is. Now in her thirties, and despite the love of her adopted brother Alex and boyfriend Chris, Eve finds herself unable to move forward in life because of all the unanswered questions from her past. With Christmas fast approaching, Chris wonders if the perfect gift may be enlisting the famed investigative genealogist Pam Slaton to help Eve get the answers she needs.
