What could possibly go wrong in Australia? It's a perfectly safe place :D

That's from the original Masks campaign, not an original creation of my own. But glad we could help!

Hey I learnt something new from this one! We don't have rabies in Australia so I assumed that whole 'club of rabid bat teeth' thing was just bad research. But it turns out in NSW and QLD there are bats that have Australian bat lyssavirus, a rabies like virus that's only infectious to bats, horses and (you guessed it) people. And it will totally kill you (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_bat_lyssavirus)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_bat_lyssavirus)</a> though it's pretty goddamn rare. I was born and raised in Australia and up until this point I thought I knew all the ways my beloved homeland wanted to kill me. Thanks RPPR for teaching me there's always something else to fear!

I can confirm that all australians exaggerate the deadliness of our animals because we are deadly afeared of bears.

Of course for all we like to joke about our collection of highly venomous and hostile animals over here in Oz, you guys in the States have bears, AKA the furry sharks of the land.

I mean locally we just call them snakes, the deadly bit is redundant. <a href="http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/sep/16/yet-another-deadly-snake-species-discovered-in-australia" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/sep/16/yet-another-deadly-snake-species-discovered-in-australia</a>
