strongly recommend Peter Strickland's "In Fabric" (if u haven't seen it) if not JUST for Mátyás Fekete's amazing editing. the film is good enough but, woah, those intercuts are grand--very Giallo, very Argento, very good. also...Isao Takahata? yeah...it's weird to talk about the role of editing in anime but, especially for Princess Kaguya, Tak really blows my mind in what he can accomplish with a few still frames and the great leaps in time he takes without so much as a fade away...

I feel that the movie does a really good job of handling very esoteric subject matters like banking, finance, and real estate markets and I feel a lot of it came down to the editing. Would love to hear your guy's opinion.
