Best gaming group I've ever had was the semester I spent in university at Stirling. My first character with them didn't speak common so I could get away with not understanding their accents until I got used to them. They played an extremely bastardized version of Warhammer Fantasy RPG that the club started in the late 80s (this was 2002) that had just evolved and evolved to fit the group. It was freaking fantastic.

I remember listening to Hannibal Buress in 2010s and he did a joke where he talked about how the web isn’t an awesome place. Specifically the page YouPorn. Well eventually he starts talking about interracial porn and the comment section and how it’s the worst because it’s filled with racist white guys saying the n-word and acting like they are disgusted. Hannibal elaborated at the punchline they still clicked on that video. So verbatim he said “their horniness beat out their racism” and if only Tom would’ve brought this up more sooner it would make sense. The only cure for white nationalism and racism in America is busting more nuts and government funded goon caves.

Usually it's freelancers that are paid by commission, so that job attracts a specific type of person. Also, the statue of limitation for not paying your ticket is 2 to 4 years (not legal advice), so I'd say you're safe.

2024-10-02 21:31:35 +0000 UTCAnother reason to talk about Watertown: Seth Putnam This is a story I was told, so idk if it's true, but I'm going to pretend it is: My buddy and his wife were invited dinner with Seth and his wife in Harvard Square way back, at this place called Hong Kong. So my friend arrives with his wife, and seth is there with his wife and theyre already eating and drinking and whatnot. Seth is an absolute maniac the entire time, turning to the waitstaff and going "Ay Chahlie Chan, lemme get some more duck sauce" and is just HUMILIATING my bud and his wife with his casual racism and general crudeness. The meal ends and the manager brings the check over. Seth stand up and takes their hands in his, slowly shaking them up and down. He looks her dead in the eyes with a big smile and thanks them so much for everything and hands her a fat stack of 20s. He apparently did this all the time and the restaurant was in on it because they didnt give a shit as long as he paid them.

2024-10-02 18:09:06 +0000 UTCAlso, I'm lactose intolerant but I eat cheese because it's awesome. However one of the worst things I ever tried to eat was a washed rind brie that had gone really bad. Washed rind cheese smells pretty weird anyway, so while this smelled awful I figured that was just the cheese. But I can still remember the unbelievably foul taste which shrivelled my tongue and caused really violent retching.
