Whatup everybody?

So I woke up and found out Patreon charged people already, that was a surprise, I’m not used to this platform at all lol

So I’ve checked this whole thing and I found out there’s an option where all the patrons are shown. In there, I can see if their payment did go through or not. I’m not surprised I got some Fraud status patrons, I’m more surprised Patreon have a system implementation like that, yeah it’s a little sad having fraudulent patrons, but that’s how Patreon rolls in general. At least is not worse than getting scammed irl and suddenly all your lifetime saving are gone, but anyway.

I wanna say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much guys for your support. I deeply appreciate it, and I appreciate it so much, that I will make this post for all of you.

Transparency

In order to give transparency and not lose your trust, I will give you the details of the payouts for Patreon:

By the time of this writing, Patreon have charged the patrons for this month. 3 patrons are considered Fraudulent and 1 patron is considered Declined.

With this in consideration, according to Patreon, a total of $82 have been charged this month. Breaking that number, it goes like this:

$60 Model

$22 Community Pot

Total: $82

Previous Community Pot: $0

New Community Pot: $22

Models of the Month:

0.- Miah Celli (aka Castanic)

This model is represented with number 0 because it’s not the model you guys paid for.

1.- Cia

This is the model representing the payment of September. I will start the develop of the model this week.

Patreon Updates

I’ve been thinking about this for a lot of time, it’s not really something that shinned on me. It’s no secret Patreon pages want to be on Pay Upfront mode. This is to avoid the whole Fraudulent thing.

Since I’m getting paid at the beginning of the month, I think the goals will become so absurd at some point that I will have troubles dealing with deadlines everywhere.

Same with the tiers, there’s one that it really makes no sense because there’s no real benefit from it. So, there are 2 changes to Patreon.

- The Tip Jar is getting removed.

Reason: There is no real benefit other than me with that tier. That’s not fair. Getting into the Patreon should get you a benefit, hence the removal.

- The Model Goals has been reduced from 4 to 2.

Reason: Like I’ve mentioned before, deadlines are a really important part of Model Building. Not meeting a deadline can (and will) result in losing time and making the model developing slower. I want to avoid this the most I can.
