Mask
Added 2021-01-03 19:47:00 +0000 UTCA bit late at this point but my upload schedule didn't allow me to upload this sooner!
A mask painting for two reasons: one because I thought it'd be cool to do, and the other reason being to somewhat commemmorate 2020 finally ending. That said, the big ol' stinky illness is still going around so it's not like it's over just yet.
Either way, this might be one of the better paints I've done! Of course, there's a lot less happening here than there usually is as it's just a bust really, but it came out really nice! It's been a while since I've felt like I've been able to focus on a simple thing and really bring it to a good render.
Definitely the harder parts of this include the fact that it's a lot of the colour white, which is something I typically struggle to paint, but I felt pretty comfortable here after the tonal adjustment we did partway through. I was worried the mask puling motion wouldn't look good either, but it came out pretty nice!
