I'm pretty happy with this one! It's the first time I've used this process where we keep all the shadows to one colour and only applying the actual colour of things in the light. With a lot of hesitation, I still managed to paint this one really quickly compared to other recent works. This really allows me to pile on the saturation without feeling like I'm going overboard.
I actually really like how it came out, the way the colours in the shadow transition between the colours in the light is really satisfying, I think. Not to mention I've gotten quite a lot of dimension in areas like the face, which I've been wracking my brain over a bit lately since I wasn't sure how I wanted to handle it.
There's a lot more to learn about this process, so I'm excited to try all sorts of things with it.
