Sucrose from Genshin Impact!

More Genshin Impact fanart on the board, this time with Sucrose! She was also among the first characters I wanted to draw, but she ended up being drawn only after quite a few of the others.

I really, really like Sucrose's design and the animation work done on the model is really darn good. Really, a majority of the character animation in Genshin Impact is just so lively and full of small quirks and attention to detail.

Since we've already drawn 2 characters with a wind kind of aesthetic, I needed some way to ensure that the environment for this one isn't just more swooshy wind effect. This time around, it's a swooshy wind effect indoors, which is different enough for me, I guess. The background for this one was actually a struggle to decide on, and since we had trouble working out the background, it had a major effect on the lighting and colour interactions for a while.

Fixing up the lighting and background was bulk of the additional time we spent putting into this one, but I think it was well worth it.
