February 2022 Poll + Updates

Greetings dear Patrons!

Ahh.. I'm so nervous about this poll post, first time on my Patreon! Before we jump in into the detailed descriptions, I think it's best to let you guys know that this poll allows You as my supporting Patrons to be involved in choosing what you like most on the poll. :D

In February 2022, I have a couple of ideas featuring certain species of canine, they are either Foxes or Coyotes. Please help me choose which one of the two species that you like most and I will make one special art illustration of it in February 2022.

The poll counts will be closed on the 1st week of February 2022. I believe I need to give my supporting Patrons their respective online time and availability to check out the poll. And finally, I will draw whichever species who gets the most count, ok? <3

I wanted to give my Patrons an option to suggest their own, but since Patreon doesn't have option to add a custom poll to share your own personal suggestion, you can still make suggestion either by commenting or send me private message via Patreon! As for restriction for personal suggestion, it will be the same just like my commission service. I will draw any species/creature except humans. xD

And now for the Updates on what's going on in the artist's life!

I've been kept busy by a couple of commissions in January, but I don't forget about the big goal of building a private art gallery. So, for the past 3 weeks or so, I've done these baby steps I did to achieve my goal. :D

I've been making frame sample using the tools I bought and salvaging the low-quality frames that I used to display my artworks last month. It's nice to be able to make your own painting frames, because I'm more confident in its frame quality, you know.. xD

I have a dream of seeing my collie-shepherd watercolor paintings in display, inviting local furry friends to come over and enjoy viewing the art, appreciating the beauty, and maybe a giggle or two while discussing these hot artsies they are seeing.. hahaha, I believe it's a common understanding that art is art and we're here to see it from aesthetic perspective. :D

Second updates is the big one! I've been surveying a space in which I will use to build my private art gallery, and I happen to have an abandoned structure in my property. This space was my old blacksmith shop, many years ago I used to have a blacksmithing job with my... let's say former partner. We made blades, arrowheads, and farming tools. Short story short, we now split and the place was abandoned, taken by nature... it's looking beautiful from afar by the way.

This space still have it's steel poles and roofing, so my plan is to use this as the space for my private art gallery and I will start cleaning the space and do some measuring in February in preparation for the new building. And I'll make sure to take pictures progressions along the way! I think the size will be around 12m x 20m (40ft x 65ft), it's easy to make expansion later but this size I'm looking forward can accommodate at least 100 artworks on A4 size (8.3 x 11.7 inches) in display. I want to start small first and work it through~

Thank you all for your support on my Patreon, really... the income I got from Patreon is always for improving the quality of me and my dogs life, but for my art gallery construction goal specifically, I'll have to work on few commissions to make it so. I will start slow and with confidence, still have time until December to achieve this goal~
