[Story] Chemistry - 2019

Hello my dear Patrons!

I hope you have a wonderful time this year, I'd like to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I'd like to share my last personal artwork in 2019, entitled "Chemistry" this piece is very important for me personally, so let's get to the story. ^^

Please enjoy the very short story!

Chemistry

“It was late afternoon, I’ve just done with my class and I’m on my way home, it was quite sunny today. I wonder what’s my collie doing at home.”

The shepherd took his briefcase and leave for home. Half way home he saw a figure walking in rush on the crossroad, moving towards home.

“Hmm.. that looks like my collie, I should catch him up.” Said the shepherd.

The shepherd start to move quickly towards the figure, and realized that it was his collie.

“What’s with the rush, collie boy.” Said shepherd from behind the collie.

The collie perks up, slow down his walk, and turn over to see who’s calling.

“Loooovee!” Shout the collie. “I didn’t know you left earlier today, how’s the school professor?” He said while smiling.

“The school was great, it’s holiday season, the class was getting bored by my lecture but they’re getting a good grasp on the big topic.” Said the shepherd.

“Really? Still teaching around small ‘matter’ yeah?” The collie chuckles.

“Well, what’s the ‘matter’, collie? You have to be specific.” The shepherd replied with a wink.

The collie was stunned with the pun he got from his shepherd, it was known that the collie is the one who loves giving out puns on daily conversation.

“Heee.. you’re getting good at it.” Said the collie. “Anyway, we need to go the mail office before going home, do you want to go straight to the home?” He said.

“No, I’m coming with you. I was wondering too what is it on your hand, where were you going today? I thought you busy working with those art commissions at home.” Said the shepherd.

“Oh, yes.. it’s for boss. This morning I got the item that I think would make a good gift.” The collie replied.

“Boss, eh.. I didn’t know you have a boss.” Said the shepherd with a bit of curiosity on his face.

The collie gives a certain stare to the shepherd, suggesting it’s for an individual that the shepherd knows very well.

“Oh my, it’s really been a while since we saw...” Said the shepherd.

“I know..” The collie smiles. “We should write some letter for boss, ok?” He said.

“Of course, let’s go to the mail office then.” Said the shepherd. “Are you gonna mail it to him?” He said.

“Huh.. of course no, I’m going to leave it to special ‘handler’.” Said the collie.

“Ah.. the man who drives a sleigh and play with elves, yeah?” The shepherd replied.

The collie winked.

“So, any other plan for tonight, dear?” Said the shepherd.

“Hehe.. we both know how the night will end.” Said the collie.

“Oh you... I’m definitely looking forward to it.” The shepherd grins.

“Professor.” The collie bow his head down.

The two smiles and cheer to each other, then walks down the street to a mail office near their home, leaving the gift for their ‘boss’, and proceed going home together for the jolly and wonderful day.

I know it was a very short one, to be honest there's a lot of hints within the story that correlate with my situation in real life, I was kinda full with stuffs during holiday season like this. I'm very happy that I can share the story+illustration of our couple for you guys, I guess I couldn't reach the third one this year. The final and hotter story+illustration will be made in early January of 2020. ^^
