It even got front page on imgur and it seems people have already taken to using the last couple panels as reaction images. Amazing. Especially considering how much I struggled with this one and how close I was to going with a different ending. There were so many possible variants I was stressing and second guessing over, running them past several friends who were all giving very contrasting opinions. But I guess I lucked out big time.
AND the cool thing about struggling is that there is plenty of variants and alternates for you to look at. I guess all of that paid off cause I ended up combining parts from every variant I'd come up with at that point. The sweating from the first draft, the sudden presence of fire from the second, and the stamping from the third. A frankenstein of comedy if you will.
Interestingly, I used to find that comics I struggle a lot with are because they are not very good and are doomed to a mediocre reception at best. But this is not one of those times, a huge opposite in fact. So it's nice to know that a struggle is not necessarily a harrowing omen of a disappointed audience.
I also find it funny that I've only used José in a small handful of comics and he's now been made into a meme twice.
TL;DR I feel great!

Probably the only part of the process that went smoothly haha. My very first thought was the CLASSIC "do you believe in love at first sight or should i walk by again?" format, but then I guess when thinking along the lines of believing in something I straight away thought of SANTA, and then that one song about "hurrying down the chimney tonight" and it all fell beautifully into place.
