2024-09-30 16:41:27 +0000 UTCbtw the cg use in anime is typically when the director decides it would be be more cost efficient to do it in cg, which is almost always the case with dragons nowadays bc of how many moving parts and details they have. it would use up a chunk of budget, and the dragon would probably be sick, but only for the 2-3 minutes it was shown 😭. that’s why i always appreciate a good hand animation on monsters these days because most anime follow the cgi trend unfortunately.
