Nami slowly working herself up to Enel levels - I love it! And the gaslighting... almost makes me feel sad for her oppenents.

2024-10-25 16:37:01 +0000 UTCI love this sort of manipulative Nami, she used to be a lot more like that in the early days. Her interactions with Zoro lending him money with 300% interest and then using that to make him do stuff for her. Or threatening the bank guy in Water 7 with Luffy's bounty if he tries to scam them or also leaning a lot into leading on Sanji when she wants him to do stuff (e.g. in Sabaody she's like "If only there was a brave knight around to guard all my treasure for me" right in front of him). Especially after timeskip, oda leaned a lot more into her having a soft stop and caring side whenever children are around and that also works, but I kind of love and miss more of the "everyone is so lucky she hasn't any actual bad intentions" Nami.

2024-09-25 16:50:34 +0000 UTCI strongly disagree. The mass destruction caused in her early years was not malicious and possibly 100% incidental. I think this contributes to her origins having such a tragic base. Preventable tragedy is especially heavy.

2024-09-25 16:27:18 +0000 UTCNami 100% would convince people(mostly men lol) to invest into NFTs,a scam coin or Ubisoft stock right now in 2024 lol.

2024-09-25 15:09:09 +0000 UTCBig mom killed several people as a child, and in the flashback, we saw that she wasn't necessarily abandoned by her parents, but was exiled by her country for causing mass destruction. She has never been innocent imo.

2024-09-25 14:21:12 +0000 UTCPEAK as always, I'll love Pudding no matter what, because she is so fascinating and complex and just... morally grey you know.. Yes she is evil and rude in some way, but she also is kind and compassionate and gentle too

2024-09-25 13:54:17 +0000 UTCWe've reached episode numbers that keep making me double check my note of when to remind Prez that his favorite episode is coming up. It's still a bit to go, but less than 30 now. :D

2024-09-25 11:13:46 +0000 UTCBrook, Nami and Pedro mvp of this arc. They were so crucial in a lot of situations. Expecially the poneglyph grab was incredibile, a key part of the story. And Nami using Big Mom's rules against her like the smart strategist she is, even causing her damage, it was amazing. I'm glad they were given the opportunity to shine. Also Zeus is a cutie, love him and his little hat.
