Like he prefers SHINMON Benimaru instead of Benimaru SHINMON. And in this current post-Japan Tokyo Empire world, they seem to prefer the "western" naming conventions instead, with stating their given names, well, first? So it indicates to me, that Benimaru is, for a lack of a better word, old-fashioned and identifies with ideals of a pre-infernal Japan and not with the current empire/ Great Sol religion? And that is also the reason why he's showing so much disrespect to the Emperor here and walks out of the meeting? At least that's how I interpret the scene as someone who's never watched the show before. I actually wondered about this naming business before, because as far as I can remember, all characters were introduced with "western" naming conventions so far, like Shinra KUSAKABE instead of KUSAKABE Shinra, like you would typically expect it to happen in an anime/manga like Fire Force. I thought until now this is just a simple creative choice of the mangaka to make the names seem more "exotic" to the japanese audience or something, but now I'm curious if there is a deeper meaning to this.
