4:00 Yoo this is the first time we've seen a devil fruit being born. This is arc has so many reveals/lore, it's crazy - I love it! 6:35 So we really did get our first WMD's in one piece. Truly, Shi no Kuni (country of death)! 15:50 Yeah, they literally gave him free sales promo 21:30 It's funny how the guy who looks the most psycho, called killer, is actually the most level headed. 36:28 I half expected an indiana jones moment with the shutter - now it's open... But agreed, really enjoying this arc!

2024-01-06 17:38:56 +0000 UTCRegarding the devil fruit: It wasn't explained properly, but Smiley was actually another case of an object eating a devil fruit, this time being a ball/slime of poison gas eating the salamander fruit. When it ate the candy and turned into purple smoke, Smiley actually died, with the implication that its devil fruit was now reborn into the nearest present fruit, the apple. It's actually the first hint we have gotten about what happens to a devil fruit once the user dies. The apples were most likely there on purpose so that Caesar could just repeat Smiley/Shinokuni in the future.
