2024-06-08 02:42:31 +0000 UTCYES KORRA CAN STILL TAKEAWAY BENDING. she didn't wont to get rid of a new airbender. when the next avatar is born they are born with access to all forms of bending the previous lives had, but not their innate skill without the avatar state. aang got energy bending added to the cycle so then korra could use it after she learned it from aang or just copied what she saw aang do. ya she lost aangs knowledge but he already taught her the move. and the show tells us that korra is a great physical learner

I’ll help you start for next episode… how do you guys like the structure of this show Sofar with its villains. IE being atla had the fire lord over the whole show and Korra has a new villain every season thus far?

When she brought people's bending back she did it in the avatar state so maybe it was with Aang's guidance or something like this and now since she lost connection she can't do it

2023-09-02 00:09:40 +0000 UTCShe can't take people's bending anymore because she lost the connection to Aang. She used the avatar state to use Aang's ability to remove bending. She could probably learn to do it now that she knows its possible, maybe. At least from what I understand.

2023-09-02 00:04:39 +0000 UTCI took Korra’s statement about taking away the airbending either as a “no, I won’t” or something she can no longer do because she lost her connection to Aang. She had to go into the Avatar State to restore bending, implying she was calling on her past lives. Those are gone. Some of her abilities that she would normally have access to could be gone as well. For a while, Aang was only able to use the other elements in the Avatar State because he was calling on past experience. Energy bending was an Aang skill. She is no longer connected to Aang.
