Currently on Ep.5. I love how the show did changes to make it better flow in a tv format. Having Nami already be in Shells Town is a great choice. Also, the cast is fantastic. I think Helmeppo's portrayal is so underrated, he is such a perfect little b*tch. XD

2023-09-04 07:52:16 +0000 UTCYeah so some of the things in this ep like Luffy cutting himself was actually shown in the manga way back, but shown in the anime later on probably bc they wanted the anime to be PG enough for kids, just like the whole Zeff situation in Sanji's past anyways, i do want to see the rest of your reaction to the live action and i hope it does well on YT🫣

2023-09-01 04:54:53 +0000 UTCI'm gonna be honest with you, watched it last night, I had low expectation coz live actions have a really bad reputation. The show is kinda good but the acting is sort of awkward... just saying (for me) --- well except Zoro. They have not captured the comedic relief of One Piece, (not yet, for me). I think it's only natural coz it's just the first episode. The main casts are under so much pressure to put on a good show (maybe)... I think thru time and in the coming episodes, the actors will be more comfortable giving life to their character -- and everything -- conversations, humor/adlibs, actions etc will be able to flow naturally. I'm no professional film critic, that's just how I personally felt as I watched the first episode (so far only the first episode is available in our country). But I still love it. Excited and interested on how they are going to do the upcoming arcs.

2023-08-31 22:07:27 +0000 UTCThat is how Luffy got the scar below his eye, btw. In the manga we see it right in the beginning, it's just the anime that cut it out of the flash back. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I swear I had a smile on my face the whole time I was watching this, it's just fun to watch.
