2023-08-29 02:23:11 +0000 UTCYeah don’t skip the beginning of the heart kingdom arc which is like ep 125-131 that one is very important because there’s a new power system introduced honestly between 125-131 all the episodes have bit of details plus some great sakuga here and there and lore so unless you wanna be confused I suggest you watch up until like 125-131 then 151-157 and then 158 is a new arc

Episoedes between 129 and 150 are small episodes and one anime-canon arc, that basically expands upon Clover situation after Elf Reincarnation, plus explains what happened with tracking device on Asta.

I tried to give some reasoning without spoiling anything major in the episodes: 125 (Called filler but it has some important stuff with the Black Bulls returning to base) 130 (Important scenes with the Captains and how the system is working) 135 (Hilarious episode with important moments for Finral, it is also a follow up to a previous episode of the anime) 136 (Good episode with some past characters) 140 (This episode has some follow up to previous stuff in the anime) 141 (Important for Yuno's character arc) 150-151 (Trust me; you do not want to miss these. Great episodes especially 151) 153 (Important scenes for the upcoming arc) 154 (Very important character moments for a few characters) 155-157 (These last few episodes all have good moments and lead directly into the manga canon episodes. Really should not be skipped)

Most reaction channels with a large dedicated following tend to skip everything filler and anime-canon, no matter the series, so it's hard to make a direct comparison. However, from what I'm seeing, the view counts seem decent enough. That's not to say their time wouldn't be better spent watching other shows, but if they do watch Black Clover filler and anime-canon episodes, I think doing reactions would be a better investment than they realize. But at the end of the day, it's up to them, so I'll respect their choice. Just to show an example, on the first 2 pages of search results for Black Clover Ep 130, these are the reaction view counts I saw for this anime-canon episode. 1.8k (uploaded eleven days ago) 2.2k 3.8k 5.2k 8.7k 10k 10k 16k 22k 49k 113k (mashup of multiple reactors) On a related note, to all the anime only fans out there, be careful when searching for "Black Clover" anything on YouTube. I saw a big manga spoiler in the search results, and I'm pretty frustrated by that. I only have myself to blame, though, but I wish the algorithm wouldn't show spoilers.

2023-08-28 02:47:56 +0000 UTCin my personal opinion you should watch anime canon/filler episodes that are not highly requested on your own. just to get characters interactions or pointless lore which helps you connect to a character more. views and engagement are important with a series on YouTube get that money.

Black Clover is one of the few shows with filler and anime-canon that I didn't actively dread watching. The good episodes were really enjoyable, while the mid(ish) episodes were at least relevant & decent enough to keep me entertained and invested.

It has some of the worst filler and anime-canon episodes I've seen in recent years (especially when it features Cho Cho), so I don't blame you for being cautious. Black Clover has much better episodes, so I'm glad you're not 100% unwilling to watch if people have specific requests. Of the 31 episodes, I think these 12 are most worthwhile. 130 131 135 141 150 + 151 (these should be watched together) 152 (has recaps, which you can skip) 153 154 155 156 157 (has recaps, which you can skip)

Imma provide some recommendations: Episode 130 is good to watch, episode 136 is interesting but not needed, then episodes 151-157 are pretty important to watch. 152 can be skipped fully as it's recap and 157 is also recap BUT has some nice scenes at the end of the episode so check them out.

Some are better than others, but overall I recommend watching them if you have nothing better to do. A lot of the anime canon is about character development and training that will be prevalent in the future arcs. But If you don't have the time or patience I highly recommend reacting to episodes 136, 151, 153, 154, 155, 156, and the end of 157 as that episode is mostly a recap.
