Update. The Britney Spears Edition

Well so far not too buggy in the code. A few cases of "Marcus Interruptus" (top tip for anyone thinking of making their own game - never call a character in your code M, if you're using MC for the player...One little typo leads to Marcus popping up at the oddest of times like an actor trying to get a bigger role) and a couple of switch fails but nothing that isn't being easily fixed.

I was going to put my tested version up here tomorrow with the version fully tested by my industrious little gang of volunteer testers up a few days later. You could have then choose to either take the plunge on my say so it was OK or wait a couple of days until we knew for certain it was golden.

But, during testing of one of the parts I released to them by the gang, they spotted something I hadn't.

On the animation tests the good news is of the first of the two naughty animations they liked it. A lot. Per Quote... " I don't think I've seen a [redacted] animated better! ". So there's that. And that was from someone who doesn't like animations so I do seem to have cracked this one in principle.

On the second, and of course the larger of the two (it would have to be wouldn't it?) I have sadly made a huge graphical error.  I didn't spot it during composition; I didn't spot it when I did a test render; I didn't spot it when I kept checking on the renders popping out last week; I didn't spot it when I started to put the animation together and I didn't even spot it when I played the animation. They spotted it instantly.

It's a big one, and it is in every single one of the 700 plus renders. Basically there is a blending error on the MC's skin. I've tried overnight to see if there is someway I can fix one and then copy/paste that fix across the remainder as a piece of post work but I can't. There is too much movement going on both with the characters and shadows etc. I'm afraid I've no option but to fix it and then run the entire thing again (due to the adult nature of the scene in Q I can't show an example of it in front of the paywall)

I'm gutted. 

It's one thing to delay because you're adding content or improving the quality. It's another to need an extra week because you're an idiot. Or blind. Or both.

I'm truly sorry. You'll understand I hope if I'm not too chatty at the moment. I just want to get this fixed and then out.
