Fidget's (Many) Spirits

Fidget was alone in her house, having been given the day off of guard duty due to her impressive performance at keeping her corner of Managrove safe. The problem was, she was at a total loss of what to do... her intruder was her best friend after all. Fidget sighed, laying on her bed with a frown as she stared at the ceiling. "I miss Ash... What the heck am I gonna do with a day off?" At least it was an excuse to wear some comfy clothes for once. She hadn't worn the green sweater and matching socks at all for months.

For several minutes after laying there racking her mind for something to do, Fidget remembered something, something fairly important even. Just the other day, two goddesses of Unity visited Heartglade Village and gave her a gift, a gift that she had neglected until now because of her days being taken up by her work. Sitting up, she looked over to the golden case that sat on her nightstand. "Well... I guess that I should take a look at this. Eb's been super excited for me to try it out for some reason... wonder why that is?"

Fidget had heard a ton about the gift she was given from Ebony. The black and white nimbat went on and on about this thing that the goddesses did to help people arrive on the planet and that with this gift she could do it too. With Ebony's excitement though came some suspicion on Fidget's part. Ebony loved tricks and traps that made people huge... surely her excitement for her to try this couldn't have anything to do with that, right?

"This has given me the resolve to see what this is while I'm all by my lonesome!" Fidget declared, taking the box and opening it. Her green eyes went wide seeing the trinket inside. It was a collar made of gold, perfectly sized to fit around her neck from the look of it. There was a green crystal on it that glowed softly with light. "A goddess seal," Fidget said, picking it up and setting the box off to the side. "Time to investigate Eb's claims about this thing..."

Fidget carefully unlatched the back of the collar before slipped it around her neck and locked it back. A perfect fit, just like how it looked! Just as Ebony had described, Fidget's eyes were suddenly filled with bright light and when she could see again her vision was completely transformed. The nimbat gasped in surprise, standing up from her bed and craning her neck around. It was like there was a blue overlay on top of the world, and in that existence there were a multitude of floating blue spheres that were partially transparent. They flitted and flowed through the air above her like falling leaves drifting in the fall wind, defying the laws of the physical realm and going through the naturally wooden walls of her treehouse that she could still see around her.

"So... this is what it's like to see the spirit realm," Fidget said to herself, focusing her vision so that the strange ethereal realm became more opaque. She talked to herself a lot when she was alone, often amusing herself with the strange conversations she would carry on. She giggled. "Pretty boring from the look of it. No snacks, no entertainment... how would you live in here and not go nuts?"

She rubbed her chin, staring at a floating blue orb that sailed over the top of her head. "Now, what was it Eb wanted me to try out...? Spirit mending or something?" From how it was described to her, based on what Ebony had seen, it was like being pregnant but without the babies. "Sounds kinda creepy to be honest, but as far I know, I'm the first nimbat to try this. So..." She spotted a spirit floating above and decided that this would be hers. She flapped her wings and launched her soft body into the air, being careful not to hit her head on the ceiling in the real world. "Come'ere, you! Get in my belleh!"

The spirit, which was nearly the same size as her whole body, floated into her arms... only to immediately phase through them and move toward her gut. Fidget squeaked as the blue sphere appeared to disappear within her body, but for a moment nothing seemed to happen. The nimbat looked around, continuing to hover in place. "Where...?" She was more than a little confused when suddenly she started to descend. Her wings weren't keeping her in the air. When she looked around she quickly realized why. "Aaaah!" Her belly was swelling in size quickly and getting heavier. Struggling not to crash, she rapidly flapped her wings and descended onto her bed, landing onto it with a soft plop. "Hah... what the..."

The nimbat blushed brightly as the white orb that was her belly continued to swell and swell until the width and height of it nearly eclipsed the rest of her body. She winced in slight pain as she felt her belly button pop out, and once it was over she had to sit spread eagle just to get her legs out of the way of the massive girthy ball of fluff and flesh. Was that really just one spirit? "Pregnant...? No... this is like being pregnant with a whole village!" Slowly she shifted, lugging the massive round thing off of the bed and managing to stand up, her massively round and tout gut so large that she couldn't even reach all the way around it if she tried.

"Ehehe... so, these things don't scale down to fit me. G-Good to know!" While her instincts begged her to rip the goddess seal off of her neck, something about this felt strangely satisfying. Fidget put her hands on her middle and felt for anything. It was warm to the touch! And what was even stranger was that Fidget felt bigger everywhere else too. Her butt, her chest, nearly everywhere. She had never been a mother, but knowing that something living was inside of her on top of the sudden changes to her body made her feel happy in a weird way. "This is crazy, I... I can't keep this thing in here. I need to be able to do things... I won't be able to fly carrying you."

"But... today I don't need to fly," she thought to herself, suddenly getting a silly idea. "If my body can handle one of these things... somehow, then how many can it handle exactly?"

Fidget looked up toward the ceiling and frowned as many more spirits hovered above her head. "Mm... how am I gonna get any more down though?" She looked behind her at her bed and then back up to the spirits. "Gonna need to jump for it! Just need to believe in my little wings that they can heft this big belly," she said, patting her spirit laded tummy and blushing a bit. The sweater that she wore barely even managed to cover the thing and now she was looking capture even more to stuff in there. It was a miracle that the thing didn't just rip and tear, especially with how much bigger her breasts were now.

"I'm gonna look ridiculous," Fidget thought, imagining her body growing one or two magnitudes more than what she already was. "But... I need to know how it feels." Solidifying her resolve, Fidget swung her heavy belly around and climbed up on the bed, turning around again to look up at two floating spirits that seemed to sit and patiently wait for her. Maybe they were amused by what the nimbat was doing to reach them. Focusing on them, Fidget gave her wings a few test flaps, her tail flitting back and forth in anticipating. "OK... here goes!"

She jumped from the bed, flapping her wings furiously. To her surprise, she was managing to get some lift! Exerting herself hard and faster, she ascended slowly to the ceiling of her tree house, putting her hands on her belly as if trying to lift it even more. "Almost... there..." she groaned. Inch by inch the nimbat climbed until she was arms length away from the two spirits. With one final push, she lurched upwards and flung her belly up, trying to scoop them up. The two spirits, acknowledging her effort, phased into her body and presumably her waiting womb. "Gotcha!" Fidget cheered... moments before the extra weight hit her. "Aaaaah!"

The nimbat hurtled toward the ground, but her tired wings gave her just enough of a push to land on her plush bed. Breathing heavily and splaying out onto her back, Fidget wiped some sweat from her brow. "Phew... that's that! Fidget one, gravity zero!" Despite her claim of victory, gravity was beginning to weight down heavy on her as she realized very quickly that she was beginning to tilt over. "Woah, woah!" Fidget cried out, managing to stop her boulder of a belly from hitting the floor by sitting on her extremely soft rear.

When she finally stopped to get a look at herself, Fidget was floored. Literally. Her white orb of a belly was so large carrying two more spirits that it was dragging on the floor! Somehow she hadn't burst from getting so big. "Maybe the goddess seal makes me stretchier too?" she mused. Standing up and grunting at the weight, she managed to carry the weight of her belly over into the full body mirror next to the door. Her jaw dropped.

She looked ridiculous, just as she had thought she would. Her sweater was nowhere close to fitting over the massive, spherical tummy she now sported. It was being stretched and pulled up on her body so much that her previously hidden black panties were easily seen on her behind. Speaking of her behind, it had grown even more with the additional weight, making her socks slip down off of her thighs and almost down to her knees. Her boobs were even larger as well. In fact, she could barely see over the top of her huge breasts if she was looking straight. Fidget stared in a mixture of shock, surprise, and... happiness?

Fidget was smiling wide looking herself. Somehow, even though she was grounded, could barely move, and could barely see, she felt incredible. The warmth inside of her stomach was spreading to other parts of her body, the pleasant feeling amplified by her own touch. Laying her hands on herself felt incredible, almost euphoric in this state. "Heh... why do I feel so fuzzy inside? Is this how moms feel like?" she asked, the question hanging in the air. "Mmm... either way... I can't cherish this gift enough. If this is how the goddesses feel when they bring people to the planet, I understand why they have so much love for this process, and for the ones they carry!" Feeling her emotions welling up, Fidget hugged herself as far as she could go, which wasn't much further past her own bust.

"Fidget the spirit broodmother..." she whispered, getting lost in the softness of her own body. "Hehe... how silly is that?"

"I don't think it's silly at all," Ebony said, suddenly appeared in the window. "In fact, I think you really rock it, Fidge!"

Fidget's eyes went wide, her eyes shooting over to her friend. "Aaaaah! Eb! How long were you watching!?" Ebony replied with a knowing stare, making Fidget sputter out a response. "S-Shut up, I don't- I don't like it that much! It's not fair, it... it's cheating! Stupid spirits making me feel amazing... Urgh, no! It doesn't feel amazing, I-" Fidget deflated, leaning into herself and sighing. "Fine, I admit it. I love this..."

Ebony floated in through the window and snuggled her belly from the other end. "Hehehe... I knew you couldn't resist it after what I told you. You believe me now?" Fidget could only blush and chuckle in response. This wouldn't be the last time she would do this, that's for sure.
