Monthly Report - July 2023

Hello everyone!

Today is the last day of July. Things got delayed because I was sick at the beginning of the month but everything worked out fine. I still have time to catch up, but I will get things on track soon. I also updated my backlog (things I wish to do).

For this month I skipped the wild Hippogriffs as separate releases, they are available on the mounted versions but they are not supported.

This month I also did a lot of updates on the Gunship project. This is the last Weekly Developer Log #6: Ship Builder Kickstarter | Patreon, if you missed these posts, at every post I put a link to the previous so if you wish to read all of those, if might be easier to filter the posts.

The Next Theme selection poll is over, with 21 votes is the Fire and Iron theme. After searching for the references to better visualize what I want to do with this theme I realized how unclear I was on the Drake x3 poses + Wild Variations, the thing is when I was creating this item I thought Drake as in D&D. "How cool it would be for Orcs to ride these drakes instead of Wolves"

But then when the poll was concluded I realized that WOW also calls flying dragons with smaller sizes Drakes... to make things right I will make 2 ground drakes and 1 flying drake. This set will be inspired by the Iron Horde

What's coming in August:

Changes in the Welcome Pack

For next month I will be adding Sun's Fury Camp - Elven Worker C to the welcome pack. With this, the Welcome Pack will be 29 miniatures (some of them have variations and a modular pack, bringing possibilities far beyond this number).

My favorite miniature

Even though I have realized one of my wish list goals (I loved making her base), making one of the creatures that I wanted to make for a long time, my favorite miniature is Nassam (unmounted version), I think that his pose and the triple shot arrow are awesome.

As of today, the number of supporters is:

• Patreon: 91 (+4 from last month, NEW RECORD)

To a total of 154 supporters (+10 compared to last month), this is a new record! Thanks to all of you for the support you have given me and for making this possible. 

I am a small content creator and I like to support others with what I can, when I started MMF was not an option (they charge 25$ monthly and have high taxes), so Minihoarder was the place I chose to start my store, it has little views and I thought that sticking around would help them and they would eventually increase their user base, but that did not happen. Due to some problems and the lack of sales starting in October, I will no longer update my products on that platform. I still wish for Minihoarder's success but I can no longer support updates.

Those that are leaving this month, farewell and I hope to see you soon. If you don't mind, send me a DM to tell me about your experience and how I can improve.

This weekend I start placing the Trolls on the stands for priming (haven't done that though lol). Eventually, they will be done, I was thinking of painting them blue but someone showed me one of them painted green therefore I must go with green too (it was awesome!).
