2025-05-08 04:31:08 +0000 UTCYeah, it's pretty obvi Q1 was like a test run but it was SO POPULAR that all subsequent Queen/King shows got SUCH larger budgets and for the most part, all the performances from subsequent iterations of the show are basically forgotten (maybe minus Hyolyn) but people STILL talk about certain performances from S1 (SPECIFICALLY from this round)

2025-05-08 04:27:09 +0000 UTClots of people don't realize, relatively, Mamamoo actually can't sing that high (at least in comparison to other kpop gg....especially from 2nd gen/early 3rd gen). The girl groups from those eras sang INSANELY high. It's just that all the members of Mamamoo, in their range, has such insane technique that it SEEMS liek they can sing high. But even their belts stradle 4th and beginning 5th octave while other groups high notes are firmly in the middle of the scale of the 5th octave
