Sekaa and I are modeling for Brooke Shaden's workshop here at PSPF. Though we are only on the schedule to model for the afternoon session, we arrived in the morning to experience Brooke's workshop. There is so much to learn.
Through asking multiple participants to give one word to describe their initial reaction (thought/feeing) to a series of random questions, she then gave us these words: Bora Bora, pink, naked, boat, sunset. With these words, we were to write a one paragraph story. Here is mine.
She was a ship, abandoned in the sea of another. A wooden boat, tossed about at the whim of the tide. Pink tones, deep hues in naked flesh, reflecting the sleepy desire of sunset. In spite of the elements, when she closed her eyes, she was not a boat, but an island. A fixed, insulated harbor of extravagant proportions. She was Bora Bora.
