I don't think that's the case. Initially, ahjin got the cheating pictures to bring down the teacher (because the teacher kept disrespecting her), because of which ahjin knew who the teacher cheated with. But then came sunghee and kept getting on her nerves, it just so happened that she became the perfect target as she already had dirt on her father previously. I don't think ahjin would've done anything to sunghee if she just left ahjin alone.

She was truly the cutest little girl ever😆 She appeared in several works at a young age, and became known as a famous child actress when she was 12 years old in "The Moon Embracing the Sun" (2012).

2025-12-30 17:00:15 +0000 UTCI wouldn't compare her to moonyoung or dongeun, or any other fml from any drama, ahjin is a villain protagonist, way darker and different. She is a Sociopath through and through, which means she is incapable of feeling any emotions at all like love, care, guilt, sadness, remorse, regret, and even if incase she does, she wouldn't know how to process them as it will be something very new and strange to her. She isn't inherently evil, but the life/childhood she's been through, shaped her mindset, and the only thing she thrives to is Survive. Her peaceful survival is the most important thing to her in the world, and she would do anything for that. So what's right and wrong in our pov, can be very different to her because she is not wired like we are. And about if what ahjin did to sunghee was reasonable or out of line, to me it was out of line, that much wasn't necessary, but from her character pov, she just wanted to get rid of her completely so sunghee would never strike back and annoy her again. Regardless, I love her character, good or bad, it was an absolute pleasure to watch her, she was a very refreshing Character, and kim yoo jung absolutely nailed the role.

I personally think her transition has been a little rough because she started so young and was seen as the fairy princess for so long. Some of her last few dramas did not do well for me. Doing My Demon and now this, probably her way of shedding her good girl image.
