2025-05-16 02:59:34 +0000 UTCi feel like people forget they can support geummyeong’s decision while also having empathy and understanding for youngbeom. comparing him to gwanshik feels unfair considering their circumstances and upbringing are drastically different. it was obvious that youngbeom’s voice was never heard growing up in that household the way the mom was treating him like he didn’t even exist when he was trying to speak up against her. at least gwanshik’s opinion was respected and valued so when he makes a stand it counts for something… his mom was also not the devil’s incarnate even if she was rough in the beginning. and no i dont think chungseob would’ve done things differently if he was in the same situation… but yea I’m glad geummyeong chose to free herself from that family and found her happiness but my heart aches for youngbeom who had to live in misery for the rest of his life he doesn’t deserve that 💔

His inability to stand up to his mom and draw a line and his silence during when that bitch was talking shit about Geum-myeong stem from the same part of his personality. That's why I feel like even if the case was that Chung-seop's mom didn't like Geum-myeong, he would've handled it very differently from how Yeongbeom handled it. He was very quick to shut up his ex when she insulted Geum-myeong. Geum-myeong found her prince and she made the right choice :)
