Queen of Tears Episode 14

What an emotional ride.

The 2 leads act really well...but man, I wish the scriptwriter would do better research for the basics. As much as I can suspend my disbelief about some things for drama plot, no hospital will accept a random person like Eunsung turning up and magically appointing himself as guardian when he's not legally appointed, not kin and has no proof of any sort of relationship which would trump non-appointed legal relationships e.g. spouse, blood-related family members. That aside, there was that stupid threat about embezzlement etc so Haein's Dad can't fly, but what about the rest of her family members? There's no reason why they couldn't fly to be with her especially if they've now found out that Hyunwoo got arrested. Sigh...I swear the only reason I'm still watching this is because of the leads and your reactions. Lol. This show leaves much to be desired when you look at everything other than the 2 mains' acting.

Also concerning your philosophical discussion at the end reminded me of the movie Beauty Inside which stars Han Hyo-joo (Moving, W, Happiness...). It's a great film that deals with some of the things you mentioned and more. It was made into a drama with the same name as well but the drama took great philosophical issues and turned it into a farcical shallow rom-com drama.

Kim Soo-hyun, the actor playing the male lead, is the highest paid actor in Korea by a mile, even above many older and popular and experience actors. That's because he always gives S tier acting, most of his dramas are huge hits both in Korea and internationally, and he is pretty selective in terms of the dramas he stars in.

Some wonder why haein still has hair after surgery. Many missed out that hyunwoo literally have convo with dads that they will use some sort of ultrasound instead of opening up her brain to remove her tumor. Saw in TT the procedures is legit and exist

You have a heart of stone Harris! 😑😂 Even Justin gave in.

Yes. For me, the plot is just mediocre but the acting from both leads is the leading factor for this drama. I don't think you are a different person with no memories. You are still you, you just can't remember what you've done. But like the show insinuates, your heart knows. ❤️

Seelia

At least the memory lost made sense after having a tumor and all and not from an accident lol 😅😂

Keith Manzano

Haein had ultrasound surgery, no cuts involved. That's why she kept her hair. Also, there are different types of memories. The type that the hippocampus is responsible for are called episodic or explicit memories. These are events and facts that we collect, almost like what makes up our autobiography. This is why she still knows how to speak, read, etc. Her intelligence is intact. Plus, remember that the doctor said there's a high chance, meaning, it's not 100% destruction. That means there's a chance she could still get her memory back. That's why it didn't make sense to me that she would resist it in the beginning. If there's even a chance of retaining her memories and living, that's amazing prognosis!

Just nonstop powerhouse acting

I love this show so much

Lola osama

The plot is actually typical kdrama with all that amnesia, chaebol , truck.. but the way they potray and acting for all the emotional scenes is insanee. Both lead hard carried the shows.
