Subscribestar?

I have been thinking for a while now about opening a subscription section on my DeviantArt, but I recently saw another article talking about how DeviantArt is cracking down on adult content. That made me reconsider opening anything up on DeviantArt. It seems pretty clear to me that they don't really want to support Adult content over there.
Maybe that's just me?
Anyway, I feel similarly about Patreon. I suspect it is headed in a similar direction. I think both sites will slowly work to ban more and more of the kind of content that we love.
Following that train of thought to its end, I wondered what all of you thought about Subscribestar? I tried it for 3 months for a while, as a supplement to my Patrone, and didn't get a single subscription over there. But what if I moved everything to that site?
Would you follow?

2023-09-12 10:50:41 +0000 UTCThat's something that was bugging me for a while too. It's really funny what DA is doing since I think 80% of it's content is adult themed. So if they really doing what you say, I think it's a deliberate destruction of the site. Just think back what happened to Tumblr. There's no way any sane business owner would repeat that disaster. And I believe Patreon can't afford to chase away a wast amount of their income. Not after what they did to some of their biggest political creators some time ago. But you're right, we must keep an exit open if shit hits the fan.

2023-09-11 19:58:03 +0000 UTCI have followed a few creators that ditched Patreon for SubscribeStar. It's fine. There's not too many big differences I've seen overall and you get used to checking in to both of the sites, but it is nice having the app-support that Patreon has. I'd follow if it becomes a case of having to move, but for now, unless you make a massive migration effort, I'd stick here for now.
