tea time is coming! sorry for the delay
Added 2020-05-31 17:30:23 +0000 UTChey y'all! letting you know that tea time will either be posted today or tomorrow — if you've been following the news, things have gotten a bit wild over here in the states regarding the protests and demonstrations in response to george floyd's murder (and the murder of so many other innocent Black americans by police). i'm in full support, and keeping up on twitter and staying up to date and just the scale of it all has sort of taken over my brain space a bit, so it's been hard to focus, and talking about anything else feels trivial and strange. as connor said this morning, "shit's poppin' off in a major way." and he's not wrong!
that being said!! i really value our tea time as a little oasis for you and me, so it'll be up today or tomorrow. escapism is important, but it's also vital that we engage with our reality in a very real and tangible way. stuff doesn't stop happening cause you stop paying attention to it.
