I much prefer individual images. In my experience, PDF format tends to negatively affect the image quality. Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear.

Sadly it doesen't help much. They even took apart my five panels on one page format into single pictures. You can't but admire some peoples devotion to this. But at least you should give it a shot, maybe you will get lucky :)

Not stop. It won't stop it. Nothing will stop it. However, some pirates are too lazy to do even the simple conversion you speak of. Some aren't that lazy though and will continue to steal.

I only download the PDFs, these days. Easier to read through. Additionally, while it doesn't prevent people from extracting the images, it adds extra steps that many average users may not either know how to or wish to spend the time doing so.

I prefer PDF, easier to read on iPad, but I don’t understand how it will stop piracy. Converting PDF to images is very simple.

I'm ok with either or. I do really like doing the .jpg slideshow, but I've also used PDFs for a similar amount of time. If anything, on my end I just need to get a better way to view pdfs lol

It might be a waste of time, but I know a couple of other artists that only do PDFs and it seems to me that they get stolen from less often. It could be for other reasons though.

Yeah, I'm not sure how that happens. I know it's some kind of plug-in, but it might require the full Adobe suite which is really expensive.

It might or it might not. Most of the time I try to overlook it, but ignoring it seems to be making it spread. I am finding more and more of my stuff being uploaded by more and more people. At some point, enough has to be enough. Though I'm not sure if we are there yet. :)

I'm not sure. It makes it slightly more difficult to pirate it, but only slightly. You can still take screen shots of each page and just post it as images anyway, but you do have to perform that extra step which some pirates are too lazy to do.

PDF's are fine with me. It's to bad you can't do what some comic sites do, they somehow embed the downloaders name in each of the pdf's pages. That would really prevent from pirating.

personally, i prefer jpegs and read in a slideshow. But like the first comment, i dont know if there are benefits of pdf, so i would agree to shere_khan's comment, since you can always make screenshots and save as jpeg....

I personally wouldn’t mind if you went with PDF only, that’s what I use anyway.

I don't think it will reduce it. I think that you have to focus on the people that love to pay for your art (because it's awesome) and not the people who will always try to steal it.
