2024-09-13 17:13:33 +0000 UTCThe reaction to your reach for the gun video is so interesting. I think you've been unfortunate to not only hit the wrong side of Tik Tok, but the "stan" side. It can be a very cruel place with people that get extremely defensive over anything they perceive to be criticisms of their interests. We can't really control some people just not liking us but calling you obnoxious is definitely them lashing out because they felt lacking in some way. I think you've done really well to cultivate an audience on Tik Tok that's thoughtful and not to quick to react harshly to things. Your content is so great, you deliver your insights with a lot of emotional sincerity even if you're reading from the script, but it never feels as though you're taking yourself too seriously either. Thanks for the substack, it's a lot neater than cross posting every tik tok here.
