This is the hi-res version! Thank you so much for your support, as always~
Deep breath, hold, gather energy, continue to hold... There's an earth-shattering kaboom coming, I'm sure of it.
It's been a bit since I got to do a sketch! After all the grayscales and painting in Corel, coming back here was a bit bumpy at first, especially with the slight challenge Bruya gave me! Not that I'm complaining, I do like a good challenge, of course~ It was nice to be able to shake my nerves on sketches, with the worry that my drawing ability has been going down the tubes a bit. Bit of a confidence boost, this one. I'm happy with where it wound up. :)

Whoof. Truth be told, those nerves I mentioned have been getting a bit extreme. I think it's the problem of social media though. I keep seeing people updating their bios to show their age--which is always years under me--and uploading killer stuff daily. And yet I struggle to do sketches consistently, or my style fluctuates wildly it feels. Makes me really start to doubt.
Luckily Bruyaglovae / DeVout gave me a fun piece. After the initial fumbles and restarts, I think I hit a nice stride. It was also a nice surprise to be asked if I do vehicles -- while I only have done a few studies in the past, I do want to get more into that sort of work, a bit. It's a fun way to do perspective, rather than architecture and such. Even though I know... Absolutely nothing about cars, except for "This end go vroom, push pedal to go haha brrrr".
There are a few nuisances scattered around this piece that I had to give him an extra hour to fix, but. That's on me. I need to work on being able to focus, still. This pandemic and everyone working from home has made that difficult, to be completely honest. Which I think loops back around to why social media has felt even worse than normal, because it only shows people being super productive... Eh. Maybe time for another break from it! Maybe uninstall it from my phone entirely.
Anyways, enough rambling. Thank you guys again for your continued support. I really appreciate it. It's been helping a lot more than you may know. <3
