Hi! Hope all is well with you. The movie Men in Black is a very, very good sci-fi choice! It´s absolutely one of my all-time favorites! :) I suggest, if you haven´t seen these yet and like sci-fi: - Blade Runner from 1982 - Starship Troopers from 1997. - the three first released Star Wars-movies (named "A new Hope", "The Empire strikes back" and "The return of the jedi"). But the first film, A new hope, was released 1977. And all three of them are commonly now shown with their re-released "enhancements" in graphics and effects, so it is not the original movies anymore in that sense. Best regards //M

2025-07-18 23:17:54 +0000 UTCHow about Starman, from 1984? It was directed by John Carpenter, and stars Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen. Another good sci-fi movie from that year was Runaway, starring Tom Selleck and Cynthia Rhodes. The movie was based on a novel written by Michael Crichton.
