Frivolous (story)
Added 2023-10-18 14:01:10 +0000 UTCMt. Lady has recently graduated as a heroine and in a few months she has had a meteoric career in her development as a heroine, because despite being so young (she is in her twenties) she has achieved everything that for her meant to be a heroine in one way or another: fame, fortune, attention, lots of fans, because for her at the end of the day that is the greatest satisfaction that comes with being a heroine, right?
She didn't think it was that easy to be a heroine as she had always dreamed, as she saw it on TV, and to achieve all that implies, such as people's recognition, being given gifts, being interviewed and being herself on TV, as if she were some kind of idol or influencer, even though unfortunately a lot of that money is lost due to the amount of destruction she does when she fights against some villain or criminal, even though that is the cost of having an ability (gigantification, which allows her to increase enormously her size until she becomes a giant), even though at least this ability allows her to catch or defeat very easily most of the criminals she encounters.
She didn't think it would be so easy to get everything she wanted when she was studying at the U.A. to be a heroine, thinking that she would have to work hard and for years in order to be recognized, but with great and powerful heroes like All Might or Endeavor taking care of the most powerful enemies, she can stand out as much as she wants (not enough to be the best but enough to catch the attention of the cameras) without having to make so much sacrifice. In the end she just has to do some dirty work while taking advantage of every situation to get attention and to be captured by the cameras while behaving in a cute and flirtatious way, at the end of the day most of the time she just has to protect her city against villains and low level criminals, against whom she has the advantage because of her gigantization power, while the really dangerous criminals are the problem of some other more powerful hero.
One day, while Mt. Lady was walking down the red carpet of the premiere of a movie that puts her in the lead role after signing a contract with a media company that makes hero movies and merchandise, and after walking in front of the cameras and flirting a bit lewdly for the cameramen, before leaving the place, a man wearing a hood approaches her in a mysterious way. We don't get to see what the man has under the hood, which worries the security agents of the place, however Mt. Lady looks unconcerned, after all, who can be really dangerous for someone as strong as her, besides that mysterious air intrigues her and seems somewhat romantic to her. Could it be one of her many secret admirers? She imagines.
The security guards approached as the hooded man appeared harmless and, not only that, but he had a large gift box in his hands ready to be given to Mt. Lady. She usually receives many gifts, but the sight of such a large gift box catches her attention and makes her anxious to see what is in the box as soon as possible, so she takes it, thanks the hooded man flattered and says goodbye to everyone to go to her room in a nearby luxury hotel on the top floor.

Later, once in her room, Yu (which is the real name of Mt. Lady, since that's just her heroine’s name), ready to sleep, wearing only a light nightgown and without her heroine costume, without the mask and without the horns. Finally, it's time to open the presents before going to sleep, but the one that stands out most of all is that huge box of presents that that mysterious guy in the hood opened for her, so she decides to open that one first.
[Route A]
Her surprise was huge when she found such a simplistic and cheap thing in such a big gift box, even big enough to fit a person with bent arms and legs inside, if necessary, but inside there was only... a miserable letter?
[Drawing A 2]
And not only was it just a measly letter, but it was a blank, empty letter, something like a superhero or anime character collection letter that some kid would collect, but moreover, the letter was undoubtedly empty. Yu hoped that this was all a bad joke, or, perhaps, had she received the wrong gift by mistake? Whatever the case, that situation did not cease to make her curious, why would someone give her a letter just like that? However, Yu knew that the gift of that letter had been no coincidence and no mistake when she saw that that letter had her heroine's name written on it. Then that letter began to glow in Yu's hand and before she could avoid it, when she tried to let go of the letter, thinking that maybe it was some sort of bomb or trap for her, the letter stuck to her hands, only to detonate a huge explosion of light that would consume and absorb her.
After a few minutes Yu opens her eyes in a daze, however she can't move much and has a hard time regaining all her senses. Then little by little her sight starts to clear, and she finds a terrible and chilling fact, even though she can't help feeling somewhat excited in that situation, as if being trapped up to every inch by that plastic layer produced some kind of excitement in her: Yu had been absorbed and sealed into the emptiness inside the card somehow.
[Drawing A 3]
As Yu struggled and gasped uselessly as she was trapped in the letter, someone entered her room, the mysterious hooded man who had given her that gift. But how did he find out where her room was? Anyway, none of that matters anymore (Yu thinks) when the priority for her at that moment is to get out of that situation in which she is exaggeratedly vulnerable. Maybe that guy will help Yu to free herself from that trap? Or was the whole trap planned by the guy?
Meanwhile the hooded man finally takes off his hood so that he can breathe freely a little. He doesn't seem to be someone familiar or seemingly dangerous, just a lifelong bespectacled nerd. If he looks like someone so harmless, Yu thinks that maybe this guy, who seems to be a big fan of hers (as he has a shirt with her silhouette under the hood), is surely coming to help her. However, the subject's reaction to see that Yu still moves a lot and struggles is to subdue her, ending any thought of rebellion by looking her in the eyes, leaving Yu in a deep trance, understanding her place as a simple and valuable collector's card.
[Drawing A 4]
Days later, while the whole world was dismayed by the disappearance of Mt. Lady and other famous heroines lately, a valuable collection of letters made in the image and likeness of the missing heroines, starting with Mt. Lady, went on display, taking advantage of the moment, being admired through the glass of the showcase by hundreds of thousands of people interested in participating in an auction to win such a valuable letter.

[Route B]
When Yu opened the box, she was totally horrified to find that nasty thing, thing which Yu doesn't know if it's a living thing or some sort of dangerous substance, but that's when she considered that it would be good to have someone check all her gifts every time, she receives one to avoid unpleasant situations like that. Who would send such a thing? Something as strange as an amorphous, bubbling mass of shiny plastic color that seems to move on its own.
[Drawing B 2]
When Yu considered that it couldn't get any worse, that amorphous mass began to move as if coming to life and expanding rapidly. Yu tried to back away terrified not knowing how to deal with such a situation but it was useless, being violently absorbed by that plastic slime until her body absorbed most of it and then only being able to perceive out of the corner of her eye how the plastic was expanding throughout her body until she was lying on the ground motionless, unable to move on her own and semi-rigid, totally helpless.
It is at that moment when that hooded man, who turns out to be a villain obsessed with her, enters Yu's room to claim his reward after having designed such a foolproof trap that would take advantage of the exaggerated vanity of his beloved Mt. Lady.
[Drawing B 3]
Hours later that villain was discovering new and practical ways to use his new piece of furniture: Yu had been turned into a piece of furniture, into a plastic figure that could be posed and remain rigid in that position in a versatile and quick way to give it some use. She could perfectly be a table, on which he could burn his cigarette or put his glass of wine on her firm breast, or perhaps, in other occasions she could be used as a comfortable and placid seat, especially the area of her breasts: the opportunities have no limit, besides her new piece of furniture looks so good with that new outfit she put on it, an outfit more proper of a piece of furniture than of a heroine.
[Drawing B 4]
After several months that villain found a much better place for his new piece of furniture, because this way he will be able to appreciate her beauty every time he sees the time while reading a book, having been her, his new piece of furniture, adapted to be a nice and lascivious wall clock that stretches the length of her leg to mark the hours and her arms to mark the minutes and seconds. Undoubtedly the villain thinks that this has been one of his greatest creations, although he does not rule out in the future trying new ideas with his favorite piece of furniture.
