It's also a good example of how the process isn't always the same, referring to me ending up redoing the character's whole face in the final steps. Having drawn this character before, I just felt like I hadn't quite succeeded capturing their personality and knew I could do better! It's intimidating to take such a huge step so far in the process but it usually pays off.
